The single-shaft shredder WTBR series has been specially designed for processing RDF (Refuse-Derived Fuel) waste. It offers efficient and reliable shredding of materials tailored to the specific characteristics of RDF waste.

  • Drive System: The WTBR shredder is equipped with a high-efficiency, IE3-class three-phase motor, ensuring efficient operation with minimal energy consumption. The direct drive with V-belts from the motor to the rotor guarantees effective power transmission and efficient machine performance. External bearing support provides stability and durability to the drive system. The rotor achieves controlled speeds ranging from 250 to 300 RPM through inverter control.
  • Cutting System: The WTBR shredder features a rotating rotor with mounted blades measuring 60x60x35 mm, ensuring effective and precise shredding of waste materials. The cutting system consists of two rows of fixed blades. The moving blades can be rotated from two to four times, increasing their lifespan and allowing adaptation to various types of waste. A system of interchangeable screens enables the adjustment of the size of the obtained product, with a standard screen perforation of 40 mm. The rotor is equipped with cooling to prevent overheating.
  • Hydraulic Compression: The WTBR shredder is equipped with a hydraulic compression system working in an arcuate axis. This allows for precise adjustment of the compression distance from the cutting rotor. The force and speed of the compression feed can also be adapted to the characteristics of the processed materials. The hydraulic system includes pumps from Japanese brands such as SHIMADZU or YUKEN, and the hydraulic power control components are provided by the renowned manufacturer YUKEN. Cooling of the hydraulic system ensures stable and reliable machine operation.
  • Control System: The WTBR shredder is equipped with automation components from reputable companies such as SIEMENS and ABB. Machine operating parameters can be easily set using the PLC SIEMENS LOGO controller. The shredder has overload protection, safeguarding the machine from excessive loads. Additional safety features from SCHMERSAL ensure safe and reliable operation. The machine also includes a manual reverse rotation function (auto-reversal) and an option for manual control of the hydraulic compression feed direction.
